My name is Brittany Sutter and I have been offering private lessons in catching for 21 years. I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and have played elite levels of softball since I was twelve. I competed in national level tournaments at 12u, 14u, 16u, 18u, and as an adult through the WFSA. From 2002-2006, I was the starting varsity catcher at Liberty High School in Brentwood, CA. After my high school softball career I walked on at San Francisco State University, and I left school shortly thereafter to start my family. I have been a military spouse for 13 years, and have experienced much in my travels. When my family moved to Anchorage, AK in 2018, I pursued a degree in psychology with a concentration in applied behavior analysis and a minor in children’s mental health from the University of Alaska, Anchorage. My background in ABA has helped me to understand how to best help girls acquire skills and shape their behavior to increase athleticism, power, agility, and technical prowess. I was a head coach for the fastpitch softball club AK Krush in Anchorage Alaska at the 12u, 14u, and 16u level. There I was able to continue my education through hitting seminars with Jake Epstein (Epstein Hitting), the High Level Throwing program from Austin Wasserman, and learned to utilize technologies such as Blast sensors and WIN reality VR to help my players grow. I have also attended seminars and workshops through NFCA and the Triple Crown Great Alaska Showcase event. In my spare time, I love practicing Muay Thai kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and relaxing outdoors or playing video games with my family. I cannot wait to work with your players and help them achieve their goals as student-athletes on and off the diamond. Let’s get started on their training today!
